Address to the committee investigating the slavery issue

Have you read my book yet? It’s called 'Slaves and Free People'. Read this.

A plantation owner locks up a slave as punishment, without food or water:
‘After two days the imprisoned slave screamed like a mad man: ‘water, water!’. Nobody came. His eyes bulged, his chest heaved from anxiety and fear. Then all of a sudden he plunged down from the dormer. He falls on his head. His wife and daughter rush to his side, and find a corpse!’

It’s been a year since the government decided to investigate the possibilities of improving the conditions for slaves. I know a way. Abolish slavery altogether!
